If you start from Hanoi , so you can go to Mu Cang Chai by the N 6 road by Mai Chau , Thai people village. I recommende you spend 1 night over there to enjoy the first discovery of mountain life. Then go on in the N6 Road untill Mocchau, from there you can take the N 43 to go a bit up to North Est head to Phu Yen . Then the thisrt day, you will joint the N 32 Road from Hanoi to go up to Mu Cang Chai . The road is beautiful with so many stops:
- Don't miss in this track:
- Hmong People villages in Hang Kia - Xa Linh - Pa Co areas. There are many smalls Red and Blues Hmong Communities living in this ares. If you are there in Sunday, don't miss the Sunday market of Hmong people in Hang Kia village . There are alot of local businees running especially in Sunday , and of course youc an see many Red and Blue Hmong People in the Market . You can visit their villages bordering the road to see theire houses and their plums farms. It's recommended to visit this higthland during December with manye local festival in the Mo Chau town and you can see many peaches flowers in the road - It's so beautiful !
You can joins people here for a collectif bath men women
- Stop at the Phu Yen bridge: The black river become a big lake now ! You will pass this lake before the Phu Yen Town. It's a nice place to take picture from the bridge
- Nghia Lo valley and Market: Nghia Lo is a big valley and there are many Thai , Muong people villages . It worth a stop ( 1 night ). In this place, you can visit the Nghi Lo town, quite remote and still exotique, not many of tourists pass by here . There are many choices for you to stay over night here: Confortable hotel ( 3 stars hotels ) or local homestay . You can order the local music performance from hotel or from the local homestay owner . They are pretty cheap and the show is very nice . In the valley you can visit many villages in the boundary of town. All are in the same style of houses: Still Houses , covered by dense vegetation, nice people and most of them wearing the traditional clothers of Thai or Muong people.
- Tu Le: Many thing to try here: Tule sticky rice, Tule chicken meat, but i prefer the trekking in the Tule area . Tule is about 50 km from the Nghia Lo town. But it's completely different! It's sourrouned by big mountains and rice terraces fields . Many tribes are living here: Thai , Hmong, Zao...
